Having had little interest in creating my own artwork through other mediums, I never thought myself as artistic. I then discovered needle felting and things began to change. I found a new way of expressing myself through this diverse medium and soon I was hooked. It was clear from quite early on, my belief that I had no artistic skills was ill-founded as more and more people complimented me on my work and were astounded at the realism that I was able to bring to my portraits and sculptures. With skills honed and experience gained, I am now a professional and my life is transformed; I hope you enjoy my work. I really appreciate you taking the time to read all my information. I hope you find it helpful. I love to recreate people’s beloved pets especially those that are no longer with us.

A website Showcasing my

Needle Felting skills

I have been needle-felting since 2017 I started after I saw someone doing the craft on a TV programme. I thought ‘that looks interesting and fun, I think I’ll have a go at that’. I bought a kit and started on my journey. The kit was a sheep, but when I asked what my family thought of my first make, they said ‘is it a goat?’ Well, I then felted him a beard and he joined a knitted Nativity set that we had. Every time I take the Christmas decorations out of the loft, I’m reminded of how far I have come! I have dabbled in 3D items and still do sometimes, but now I really prefer to do 2D portraits. I am using the wool as a form of paint to recreate as faithfully as possible the photos that customers provide.
